By accessing and using CiteGuild ("the Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by the terms and provision of this agreement. If you do not agree to abide by the above, please do not use this service.
CiteGuild indexes public pages discovered through sitemaps that members submit and makes those pages searchable through its website, API, and agent tools. Search results are source candidates for independent editorial review, not instructions to publish a link.
To access certain features of the Service, you must register for an account. You agree to:

You retain your rights in your content. You represent that you are authorized to submit each site. You grant us a limited license to fetch its public sitemap and pages and to store, index, embed, excerpt, and display the metadata and content needed to operate the Service. Removing or suspending a site stops it from being an active search source, subject to reasonable processing and backup retention.
Semantic relevance scores and excerpts may be incomplete or incorrect. Writers and publishers remain responsible for opening a source, checking its claims, and deciding whether any citation improves the work. CiteGuild does not guarantee a backlink, placement, search-engine ranking, traffic result, penalty avoidance, or reciprocal treatment. Membership never requires one member to link to another.
The current plan is $10 USD per month, billed in advance through Stripe, with no free tier or trial. It permits unlimited submitted sites subject to these Terms, technical limits, and reasonable-use safeguards. You may cancel through the billing portal; access continues through the paid period and ends when Stripe reports the subscription canceled or unpaid. Fees are non-refundable unless required by law or stated otherwise. We will give existing subscribers 30 days' notice of price changes.
We strive to maintain high service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. We may temporarily suspend the Service for maintenance, updates, or other operational reasons.
Your privacy is important to us. Please review our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the Service, to understand our practices.
We may suspend a site or account for nonpayment, abuse, a security risk, lack of authority over a submitted site, or conduct that violates these Terms or harms users, us, or third parties. When practical, we will explain the reason and a path to review.
You may terminate your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Service will immediately cease.
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We disclaim all warranties, express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
In no event shall CiteGuild be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including without limitation, loss of profits, data, use, goodwill, or other intangible losses.
We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. We will notify users of any material changes via email or through the Service. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction of the state of New Jersey, without regard to conflict of law principles.

You agree to comply with all applicable export laws and regulations and will not use the Service in any embargoed countries or for prohibited purposes.
Your use of the Service may be subject to reasonable rate limits and usage quotas to protect reliability for all users. Excessive use may result in temporary service restrictions.
The crawler accepts HTTP or HTTPS sitemaps, follows bounded same-site fetch rules, and may revisit indexed pages to keep the corpus and detected-link history current. We may reject unsafe, inaccessible, unsupported, excessively large, or abusive submissions. Site owners can contact us to report a crawl or indexing concern.
